The Open University         Statistics Group          presents a one-day conference

 

The Geometry of Data Analysis (Gowerfest II)

to be held on

Monday 19^th July, 2010

at the Open University in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

 

This one-day conference, organised to celebrate John Gower's 80th birthday, highlights recent and on-going research made in collaboration with him or inspired by his geometric approach to data analysis.

The conference will include 8 invited talks along with a special introduction by David Hand (Imperial College, London). We also invite submissions for poster presentations on relevant topics. If you wish to submit a poster for presentation, please complete the relevant section of the registration form. The cost of the conference is 30 pounds. This includes registration, coffee, lunch and tea.

The conference will start at 10.00 a.m. and end at 5.30 p.m. It will take place on the Open University campus at Walton Hall, Milton Keynes.
